Amanda Mocci’s hyperrealistic Monochromatic portraits prove that a single colour has a tremendous power to make a sketch look real. We all have sometimes tried to sketch a picture of our favourite person or maybe an animal and we all know the end result.
We all have creativity inside us and we try drawing and painting to express our feelings. But Amanda started her artistic journey to forget the grief of the sad dismissal of her 30 years old brother and found relief after engaging in drawing and painting for hours and still passionately doing branding and illustration works independently.
Her monochromatic paintings of star wars characters and the game of thrones popular characters are amazing portraits with fine detailing.
First of all, you would love to know her journey about why and how she started drawing portraits
monochromatic portrait: Game of Thrones
Jon Snow of House Stark [The King in the North]
Daenerys Targaryen of Dragonstone [Mother of Dragons]
Cersei Lannister Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms [for now]
Star Wars – Monochromatic portraits
Chewbacca
AKA Chewie, big-walking-carpet – this furry Wookiee is probably one of the most beloved characters of the entire series. Yes, the hair took quite long, but it was pretty therapeutic.
Boba Fett
So most of you guessed right. One of the shortest lived characters but loved by many. I had a hell of a time making him look all stuffed up but it was worth it. A clean Boba wouldn’t be Boba at all.
